Michelle Amato is a dynamic vocalist, whose effortless range
and ability to convey the deep passion of a lyric make her
one of the most in-demand names in music today. She sang
for Cirque du Soleil’s “La Nouba,” and has performed and
recorded with artists including Liza Minelli, Al Green, Sandi
Patty, Jon Secada, Donna Summer, Michael McDonald, Ira
Sullivan, and Jon Hendricks. Her solo work can be heard on Yanni’s “Ethnicity”
cd and “Yanni Live” dvd. Michelle has recorded her own CD, entitled “I’m All
Smiles”. She has been a featured soloist with The Memphis Symphony, The
South Florida Pops, The Baton Rouge Symphony, The Florida West Coast
Symphony and The Orlando Philharmonic. Michelle has sung for Warner
Brothers, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Tournament of Roses Parade,
the Walt Disney Company, and The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. Her Master’s
Degree from the prestigious University of Miami School of Music has created
demand for her expertise as an adjudicator and clinician. She has coached
vocalists for Cirque du Soleil, and directed jazz vocal ensembles at The
University of Miami, The University of Memphis and Rollins College. Michelle is
a featured singer with The MasterSounds.
